What you’ll do
• Develop and enhance the firm’s quantitative trading framework and core platform components.
• Design modular, maintainable systems using modern architectural patterns.
• Implement robust monitoring, alerting, and incident response processes to ensure system reliability.
• Analyse performance metrics and drive improvements in latency, stability, and throughput.
• Automate workflows and build tools that enable faster, more resilient trading operations.
• Collaborate with quant researchers, traders, and technologists to deliver production-grade solutions. What we’re looking for
• 2–8 years’ professional software engineering experience.
• Advanced Python skills with strong development practices and clean code principles.
• Knowledge of distributed systems, high-performance computing, or real-time data pipelines.
• Familiarity with containerisation and orchestration (Kubernetes) and cloud infrastructure (AWS a plus).
• Experience in highly available, low-latency environments — finance experience is a bonus, not a requirement.
